After numerous exciting rivalries and matches throughout the year, WWE matches into Indianapolis with Fastlane 2023 this week. Like other premium live events of the year, Fastlane turned out to be stunning.
While not a lot of matches were a part of the card Triple H managed to confirm a star studded match card with some exciting feuds. During the kickoff show, the Game was seen welcoming Jade Cargill, getting their anticipation rolling for the premium live event.
Fastlane turned out to be the first time John Cena returned to action in WWE TV since his loss to Austin Theory at WrestleMania. Not only that, the event also featured Seth Rollins being a part of a Last Man Standing match for the first time in his career. Let's take a look at the results and reviews of the show.
Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso defeated Finn Balor and Damian Priest to become the new Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions
The festivities of the premium live event kicked off with the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match when the team of Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso defeated Finn Balor and Damian Priest. With some intense action throughout the match, the tag team battle turned out to be the best way WWE could kick off the exciting night.
With new champions now, this week's Monday Night Raw turns out to be must see. It would be interesting to see how things workout for the megastars ahead of a Survivor Series.

Carlito, Rey Mysterio, and Santos Escobar defeated Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits
While this match was initially supposed to be a 6-Man tag team match, the action began as a 3 on 2 handicap match. Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits dominated over the duo using the number's advantage on their side. However, things turned around when the Hall of Famer's friend, Carlito came out to even the odds.
With a wild return from Carlito, Indianapolis couldn't contain their emotions inside the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. While LWO won, it was shocking to see the dominant trio of Lashley and Profits lose while they were trying to make their presence felt on the roster.

Iyo Sky defeated Charlotte Flair and Asuka
The triple threat match for the Women's Championship turned out to be an intense battle to keep fans engaged in the premium live event. While the action packed battle saw some of the most dangerous spots, all three women managed to deliver an amazing match with Iyo Sky retaining her title in the end.

John Cena and LA Knight defeated Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso
Before the stars could make out to the ring, Pat McAfee made a return and addressed how excited he was for Fastlane. The former WWE commentator welcomed John Cena and LA Knight for their tag team match against Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa.
An action-packed match showcased John Cena's return to the ring on WWE TV for the first-time since the beginning of his WWE tour a few weeks ago. While the Bloodline dominated over the Hollywood star majorly, things turned around when LA Knight came in. After a massive battle, Cena and Knight defeated the Bloodline to pick a massive win.

Seth Rollins defeated Shinsuke Nakamura to retain the World Heavyweight Championship
The grueling Last Man Standing match between Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura turned out to be the show stealer of Fastlane 2023. With an intense rivalry and the World Heavyweight Championship on the line, both Rollins and Nakamura tore each other apart to their core with every weapon they could get.
While Rollins' bad back turned out to be a massive advantage for the King of Strong Style, the former managed to go through all his pain and deliver one of the best matches of the year. In a barbaric and brutal match, Rollins was able to stand tall and retain his World Heavyweight Championship.
